  • Seton Hall Prep School Athletic Expansion Plans:

    Currently bringing to the public the proposed expansion plans that will clear-cut over 50 old-growth trees on their property on Prospect Ave, West Orange. Will be presenting a resolution for adoption to urge the Seton Hall Prep administration tom reconsider their plans and work with the community and the Sierra Club to find alternatives to their plan that will save the old trees.

  • Essex County Energy Audit Program:

    Mike Minenaides, Energy Conservation, has been working to push Essex County to allow for an energy audit of their buildings, old and new. Progress is coming as the administration is start to see some value in energy conservation.

  • The Group is co-sponsoring a Watershed Management Area presentation at the Verona Park Boathouse each second Thursday of the next three months- an educational outreach program by the NJDEP to reveal to the public what it takes to manage a watershed.
