For Immediate Release Sierra Club statement on Dr. Eric Munoz: He will be greatly missed The Sierra Club is deeply saddened over the passing of Assemblyman Dr. Eric Munoz. He was a good friend of the Sierra Club and an environmental champion. Dr. Munoz was an important expert on the environment, especially relating to its effects on human health. We worked very closely with Dr. Munoz on so many issues, ranging from children's health to toxic chemicals in our air and water, to clean cars and open space. His expertise and dedication will be sorely missed but his legacy of helping to protect the environment and the health of the people of New Jersey will always live on. We're proud to say we endorsed Dr. Munoz in every election for state assembly. We have lost a great friend. Our thoughts are with Dr. Munoz's family.
